Nope. And you don’t need to, either. May I point out to you that just by starting this blog out here in the Internet-Wilderness, you have already made contact with one other soul (me). Is that pointless?
No, I’m not fishing. Just reminding you that we’re all In This Together, and you impact other people whether you know it or not.
You might like to try blogging over at Live Journal. I have a journal there, and they have huge numbers of members who have interests that run the gamut. Once you’ve got an account (and I think you can get them for free, now) you can find communities of people that are interested in the stuff you like (like science fiction). And unlike Facebook or MySpace, you don’t have to post pictures of yourself or deal with popularity contests. It’s a more grown-up kind of place.
Anyway, I thought of you when I was posting over there yesterday. It’s nicer than an Internet blog, in terms of finding people to talk to online.
here’s a second soul who has started reading your blog… I don’t know if you check replies that get entered later, but you’re existance is not pointless. I know it sounds cheesy… but you should watch It’s a wonderful life… even if you’re not surrounded by family yet, there really is plenty of time.
